What a great day!

A mini-road trip to the The Gower Peninsula with a great, new friend; a productive meeting with the Foundation for New Hampshire Independence; a productive meeting with some Wales friends about a new (secret) liberty-related project; and a nice walk home after a great dinner.

But none of those things could compare to emotions I felt after that.

In between staying up with the new releases, lately, I’ve been listening to older episodes of my friend’s podcast, The LAVA Flow Podcast. I just listened to episode 22 – when the host, Rodger, excitedly told his listeners that he and his wife, Jess, decided to move their family of four to New Hampshire as part of the Free State Project.

Keep in mind, this all happened before I met any of their family.

He mentioned that my film, 101 Reasons: Liberty Lives in New Hampshire, helped their family make the decision to sign up for the FSP and move to NH. For most of the rest of the show, he flawlessly summarized the 101 Reasons for his listeners and passionately asked them to join him and his family in NH.

I’m literally tearing up right now as I type this. It took Beau and I a year to make that film. Could we have done better? Absolutely. But ya know what? Apparently, we did a good enough job to help bring four of the greatest people I’ve ever met to NH. Not only are Rodger and Jess amazing, but they’re also raising two mature, intelligent, kind-hearted young men. Through unschooling, among many, many other things, they’re teaching their kids critical thinking skills – something government schools don’t want to, and would never, teach.

Rodger, Jess, and family: I love you guys, I miss you, and I can’t wait to continue fighting for liberty in NH again, right by your side. See ya soon*.

*Well, OK, not too soon!
